Dither playing on the MATA Festival January 21st 2009
What better way to celebrate Barack Obama's first day in office than to go hear some cutting
edge new music! Dither has commissioned a whole mess of new music for our installment of
the MATA festival. This will all be happening at the issue project room in BRooklyn. We start at
8pm and tickets are $10. For more information go to http://www.matafestival.org/
Coincidently, this will also be my first day student teaching in Pequannock High School.

Dither goes to Hong Kong
Dither spent a week in Hong Kong with Samson Young playing his evening length multimedia
show Hong Kong Explodes: A City in conversation with Bach. After debuting the show show in
NYC at the Player's Theatre October 1st, then performing selections at Princeton University's
Composer's Concert, we took it on the road to the Fringe Theatre in Central, Hong Kong,
where we thrice packed the theatre 10-31 to 11-1! We also closed an arts festival at the newly
formed jockey club arts commune.

Kyklos throws down at the Brooklyn Lyceum 10-08-08
Late October - Dither in Hong Kong?!?!?!? It's pretty much almost official! (kinda)
Barring some crazy foreign affairs debacle in the next couple of months, Dither will be traveling
to Hong Kong to perform a piece written for us by composer Samson Young entitled Hong
Kong Exlpodes!: a city in conversation with Bach. But don't despair! for those ditherfans of you
who are not dedicated enough to go Hong Kong to see the piece, we will be performing a
version of it in NYC October 1 at the Players Theatre.

Dither will be starting up its concert season this Friday September, 5 2008 at Listen/Space
(195 Skillman Ave., Brooklyn, New York 11211).
We hopefully will be premiering parts of Samson's piece, as well as playing your old favorites
and maybe some wacky new stuff as well. Warning: this concert may rock exceedingly hard
(especially for classical music!)

Tell the Audient Void will be burying itself in sand and recording what happens. Hopefully this
shall result in the most ultimate recorded TTAVness for the purpose of packaging and
distribution. We shall see.....

School Auditorium at 8pm. We will playing works by Holst, Verdi, Rossini, and Jaeger amongst
others.
