Show
I was asked to play on possibly the loudest piece ever: a dark ambient arrangement of a
newark under-underground hiphop duo piece called Dalek.  The AntiSocial Music Conosrtium
are a bunch of swell cats whose take on music I admire:   "new chamber music as the last
bastion of socially unacceptable sounds."  Indeed!!!

Below lies 2009

Introducing the double quartet
December 4th - opening for Newspeak at the Public Assembly...
A new group starring Joe Branciforte and Chris Botta...
Special guest starring Matt Mora
not so special guest starring me on the 5 string electric bass guitar
This is a cool new group blending squarepusherishness, more than one nod to the
grumpy men of the 20th century art music scene, but with a pop sensibility.  But don't
take my word for it...

Fall of the Tweny-oneths
We will be playing the Stone on the 21st of October and December.  Why? Because we

Dither goes to Hong Kong
Dither spent a week in Hong Kong with Samson Young playing his evening length
multimedia show Hong Kong Explodes: A City in conversation with Bach.  After debuting
the show show in NYC at the Player's Theatre October 1st, then performing selections at
Princeton University's Composer's Concert,  we took it on the road to the Fringe Theatre
in Central, Hong Kong, where we thrice packed the theatre 10-31 to 11-1! We also closed
an arts festival at the newly formed jockey club arts commune.
Pictures and a wee bit of story to be found
here

Kyklos throws down at the Brooklyn Lyceum 10-08-08

Late October - Dither in Hong Kong?!?!?!? It's pretty much almost official! (kinda)
Barring some crazy foreign affairs debacle in the next couple of months, Dither will be
traveling to Hong Kong to perform a piece written for us by composer Samson Young
entitled Hong Kong Exlpodes!: a city in conversation with Bach. But don't despair! for
those ditherfans of you who are not dedicated enough to go Hong Kong to see the piece,
we will be performing a version of it in NYC October 1 at the Players Theatre.
